From the Mauka to the Makai - from the mountain to the sea - you are being called.
You’re here because you heard the call.
You heard the call of the sea - The silent call to spend your days between the salt and the sky and the sand.
You may have heard it for the first time when you were very young – or while on that amazing vacation forever ago. It is the need to stick your feet in the sand and to breathe the salt air into your lungs.
Or maybe for you it’s the mountains covered in the white powdery snow you crave. The absolute quiet that exists when surrounded by towering pines and bare branches coated with a pristine blanket of snow…
Somewhere along the way, between school and work and family, life became a crazy place. 'Busy' became they focus of our lives, instead of fun, family, and friends. From enjoying the moment to constantly, overwhelmingly inundated with being busy. A non-stop world where we multi-task everything to maximize everything, and enjoy little. We rarely use all our vacations days. We are constantly plugged in and looking for new ways to be more efficient so we can get more done each day. And meanwhile, on every glorious beach, on the top of every mountain, the sun rises and sets on another beautiful day.
We are all looking for the pause button on life from time to time. We have all heard that calling. And that is why you are here….
I grew up on the beach, and spend as much time as I can on or near the ocean. I love hiking the mountains and plains and being outdoors. I am inspired daily by the art that is nature.
My mission is to bring a small piece of that sun and sand, or mountains and snow, to you through my art. With each new piece I create, I want you, the viewer, to be able to stand right there and smell the air, feel your shoulders relax and soak in the sun, and I hope it will inspire you to get out there, and find that pause button.
Please, take a look at my gallery and hopefully something calls to you. If you like what you see, but have something more specific in mind, reach out and let’s chat.
The sea and the snow call. What are you waiting for? You’re ready. I’m ready.
Let’s get to it.
